Mega Artworks is the Digital Art Store for Mega Graphics LLC.

Mega Graphics was founded  in 1997 by Mark Poe, a graphic artist and cartoonist with more than 25 years experience in Commercial Art. Basically a self-taught artist, Mark started drawing when he was old enough to hold a pencil to paper. He was inspired early on by Saturday morning cartoons, newspaper comic strips and comic books. As he got older he began to notice logos and design work and incorporated it into his own work. He absorbed everything he could concerning art, at school, watching TV, from books, magazines and more. He went to a small local college and after his first year the art instructor told him there was nothing else he could teach him and recommended he go to a Commercial Art School in Atlanta. Mark could not afford that at the time, he was working 2 jobs to provide for his family, but he would not give up his dreams of being a commercial artist and cartoonist.

Mark's first commercial art job was with a mid-size T-Shirt Screen Printer, where he learned the ropes and contributed his knowledge of cartooning to the field of screen printed t-shirts and caps. Over the years he gathered knowledge doing layout and design of logos, flyers, letterheads, catalogs, banner ads, web sites, billboards, t-shirt designs, posters, comic books, and cartoons.

Finally he went out on his own and for 10 years Mega Graphics LLC provided art services for over 100 accounts with the help from several freelancers as well as a huge amount of artwork still coming from Mark.  During those years most of the work Mark and his assistants did were for one time use, licensed art for T-Shirt designs, and posters. From that grew filing cabinets of illustrations which Mega Graphic later began to market as clip art, first on CD's and now over the World Wide Web. Since then many new pieces have been added and are being added regularly.
